I wonder if you can help provide me some data about media and politics in Brazil. I want to know how the role of media has changed in related to Brazil's political situation. I would like to foncus on the government of Collor since I read that he was brought down by media/press. I wonder why and how. Collor was strongly supported by media. Why did media run campange against him? I believe that media and elite class have a strong relationship. I wonder if there was something behind the scene beside the economic crisis and the corruption of Collor. Please provide me some information as soon as possible since I have to finish my paper by this Tuesday. Thank you so much for your time and response.

How did you know about my home page? I was trying to search for some information about media and politics in Brazil for my final paper. I am a graduate student in Comparative International Education at Loyola University of chicago. I am interested in doing my dissertation on Media and Educational Democratization; therefore, I am taking a class called "Politics in Developing Countries."
