Presenting Complaint -------------------- Dear Mr. Herron, I am interceding on behalf of my dear sister Fran, age 55, who lives in Harrison Township outside of Detroit, MI. For some years now she has been in great physical pain. She has twice overcome ovarian cancer and is now in remission, but due to invasive surgeries, she has had much internal scarring and adhesions. She saw a doctor this past week who specializes in oesteopathic manipulation, and two days after her first treatment, which she described as being twisted into a human pretzel, she is in extreme pain today. She feels as if a rib or more is broken. The doctor had remarked how poorly her ribs had healed after surgery to drain fluid from around her heart. She has also suffered for 3 months from itching in her arms especially. Special testing of the fluid extracted from one of the itching spots proved inconclusive, "of undertimined origin". My heart is aching for her to be in such constant pain. Years ago, my son, at age nineteen received four marvelous reiki sessions. I had heard about reiki through a spot on a local television newcast, a woman in Scottsdale, AZ named Kathie Cash. He went to her after a breakup with his first true love, - he literally was suffering I think from a broken heart. Kathie was just incredible, and I witnessed my son emerging from his months of depression upon receiving reiki. I had a powerful recollection of this the other day and thought, "Why not reach out on behalf of my sister and ask for a reiki intervention"? My sister has the most compassionate heart; she dedicates her great writing skills to animal rights' causes. She has maintained her vegan diet on moral principles even when doctors told her she should be eating more in a "western" fashion. She does not complain about this pain she lives with and counts her blessings first. Nevertheless, it is truly debilitating to her, and I would appreciate from the bottom of my heart if you can remember her when you so generously give of yourself to these online requests.
